Supporter stories

Football competitions have been on hold since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic but, this hasn’t stopped the football spirit across Europe. In fact, throughout this crisis, the European football landscape has highlighted why there is so much more to the game. These difficult times have shown why clubs and fans are a Supporter of Each Other and More than Football!

Since the start of the pandemic, we have seen the pivotal role that football can have within society, especially when football fans and organisations unite. In response to COVID-19, the Supporter of Each Other team members have been striving to make a positive difference within their communities, to help overcome the virus and assist those most in need throughout this challenging time.

Through several acts of support, from easing the effects of loneliness to providing food and clothes to those most in need to the making and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to donating and carrying out fundraisers, to name a few. It’s clear that so many people have gone and are still continuing to go above and beyond to help support society, in whichever way they can!
