Stal Rzeszów is a Supporter of Each Other

Stal Rzeszów is a Polish football club based in the largest city in southeastern Poland. Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, the club has shown its support for the local community, leading by example as an official Supporter of Each Other. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic affecting the football season, Stal Rzeszów decided to organise and participate in the Podkarpacie FIFA20 tournament. Alongside, more than 70 clubs from all over Podkarpacie. It allowed many fans of local teams to forget about the current situation and feel the football excitement again!

Stal Rzeszów also carried out several other actions of support, to help its fans overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, including:

  • Sharing some of the player’s music playlists for fans to listen to.
  • Creating a weekly column and a podcast series to update fans about the recent events related to Stal Rzeszów.
  • Starting the new #StaloweDobranocki feature, whereby each week dads from the team and staff read books to children. 
  • The release of a Stal Rzeszów face mask in the club colours.
  • Creating a #StalMasterclass which features some technical and psychological insights into match preparations.
  • Supporting the #niekłammedyka appeal, which was created to encourage all people who call an ambulance, to tell the truth about the state of their health. In order to, help protect the Paramedics providing assistance in the current situation.
