Fulham FC shares the numbers of its COVID-19 response
Even with COVID-19, Fulham FC Foundation kept up their work up and continued delivering their programmes in the community.
Fulham FC shared the numbers of their response actions to the pandemic. For many, lockdown and isolation have been, and still are, challenging. That is why the Foundation regularly called its supporters to check-in in them. More than 1400 people, who were either season ticket holders or participants of the Adult Health programme, received a call from the Foundation. Meanwhile, the young players of the Girls Development Centre were able to interact with 22 Women’s first-team players through the Let’s Connect initiative.
Not only moral and psychological support but also practical actions. In the last weeks, the Foundation has distributed over 3000 meals. This was made possible thanks to the partnership with City Harvest, Dinner Ladies and the London Rowing Club, that helped to produce and to deliver the parcels to vulnerable people.
The organisation kept up their regular programmes, adapting them to the extraordinaire circumstances. 64 young people participated in the Premier League Kicks live session, while other 49 took part in the DisAbility ones. Moreover, their Saturday Morning Virtual Skills Club videos on YouTube received more than 1000 views.
We continue to run lots of online activities to help keep everyone active.
